A new design for an existing lingerie shop in the centre of Ghent. The owner wanted an unconventional shop—a special place where customers feel at ease. A place to feel good. There are no mannequins, no fixed fitting rooms and no traditional clothing racks.
Instead, upright posts are arranged in a grid spanning the entire shop. Fluorescent lights are attached to some of the posts. Pivoting, double-sided panels feature a mirror on one side and felt on the other, to which photographs and lingerie can be attached. A flexible system accommodates both fitting spaces and the display of the collection. The stool, storage area and checkout counter are made from stackable steel-wire baskets.
